I. General Information Questions

Q: Why is my service transitioning to Waymark?
A: For various technical and business reason’s, Dallas.net has determined that providing DSL service is no longer a viable option for its business model. Dallas.net has decided to transition your service to Waymark Communications.

Q: What will happen to my Dallas.net account now that Waymark has taken over?
A: Waymark will honor existing service contracts where possible. We will notify you if there are any service changes to your existing service plans.

Q: What are the advantages of Waymark Internet compared to what I have today?
A: With Waymark, you will be a subscriber of North Texas' "Best online Service Provider for Business. This means even residential subscribers get business quality services and support. We have and will continue to work to make your Internet experience an enjoyable one.

Q: Can I keep my homepage as is?
A: YES

Q: Where do I go for customer support?
A: All Subscriber Support lines and Sales lines have moved to Waymark.

II. Migration to Waymark's Network

Q: When will I see these changes?
A: You will be receiving information from Waymark on when the transition will take place. Please look for it coming in two different forms. (Snail Mail and Email)

Q: How will this effect my e-mail address?
A: Your Dallas.net email address will not change. However, you will obtain a second email address at Waymark.net at which you may pick up email addressed to you at Dallas.net or Waymark.net. Catalog.com has agreed to continue forwarding emails sent to your Dallas.net address for up to two years.

Q: Will my service be disrupted?
A: You will be receiving information regarding the transition process onto Waymark’s network. If the process is followed correctly, your service will see little disturbance.

Q: What do I need to do to migrate to Waymark Internet?
A: You will be receiving detailed information outlining the necessary steps you must take throughout the migration onto Waymark’s network.

Q: Will I need to do anything new to log onto the Internet?
A: No, once you make the necessary changes onto Waymark’s network you can continue logging onto the Internet the same way you always have.

Q: What happens to my homepage?
A: Your homepage can be set to your preference.

Q: Will my Internet speed change?
A: The speed at which you connect should not change. The speed at which you connect can be impacted by a number of factors some related to your individual PC and others related to Internet conditions. So, the speed at which you connect may vary from one log-on to the next. You will still receive the high level of dependable service provided by Dallas.net

III. Email Questions

Q: What happens to my current e-mail address?
A: Your Dallas.net email address will not change. However, you will obtain a second email address at Waymark.net at which you may pick up email addressed to you at Dallas.net or Waymark.net. Catalog.com has agreed to continue forwarding emails sent to your Dallas.net address for up to two years.

Q: How do I add more e-mail addresses?
A: You can simply call Waymark's Sales Team and they will assist in adding an extra email account.

Q: Can I access my Waymark email account when I’m not home?
A: Yes you can. Once the dallas.net email is forwarded to the Waymark accounts, just go to http://mail.waymark.net/. You will be informed by email when this is available.

Q: What Internet client software programs can I use with Waymark Internet?
A: Since Waymark's systems meet Internet standards, you can either use your own tools for accessing the Internet through Waymark. For instance, if you would like to use Eudora as your e-mail program, simply change the default settings, and you'll be up and running! However, Waymark Internet only provides support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and above, Outlook Express, Netscape Navigator and Netscape mail.

IV. Other Services

Q: What will happen to my personal web page?
A. Your personal website of 10 Meg will be auto created at the time of the migration. Please call customer support for new URL.

VI. Plan Descriptions and Billing FAQ's

Q. Will my price plan change at migration?
A. Your existing rate for services will not change.

Q: Will I continue to be billed for Internet service as I am now?
A: Yes, Waymark will continue to bill using your current method. The only change you will see is the name of Waymark on the credit card, bank draft or invoice.’ Please keep a look out for a letter addressing all billing questions and issues. This letter will be from Roger Starnes.

Q. What if I don’t want to migrate to Waymark. Is there a penalty for dropping the service?
A. The conditions of the offer that you accepted during enrollment will apply if you decide to drop the service. For additional details on any penalties that may be incurred for dropping the service please contact at one of the numbers located on our Contact Page.

VI. Getting Help

Q: What type of subscriber support does Waymark offer?
A: Waymark offers technical and administrative support for your account. You can get expert technical assistance from us for setting up Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or newer, Outlook Express, Netscape Navigator and Netscape mail. Since, Waymark's systems meet Internet standards, you can choose use your own tools for accessing the Internet through Waymark. For instance, if you would like to use Eudora as your e-mail program, simply change the default settings, and you'll be up and running! However, these programs are not supported by Waymark and may make some advanced features of Waymark's service unavailable.

Q: What hours are support available?
A: Technical support is available from:

M-F 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
SAT 12:00 AM to 5:00 PM
SUN 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Waymark also offers email technical support at any time on Waymark Internet related subjects. You can email with your questions. Waymark reserves the right to limit technical support to Waymark related configurations and problems and Waymark approved software.
